This is nearly word-for-word the first thought I had. Though I followed it up with a mini mental rant about Stabler being the bad guy almost right from the beginning of SVU. 

The dumb bitch who took his picture and sold the story to the Daily Mail ought to be publicly shamed and scorned. Fuck Fox News for running with it too, you know they love the idea of seeing a black man “put in his place” or something vile.

GOOD TAKE

Roth was part of the first wave of those filmmakers who had grown on up the 70s/80s horror films and wanted to replicate the spirit for a new era, a mission I totally approved of. It’s ironic, then, that the figure from that group who has had the most success has been so, so disappointing.
