I had a brief twitter exchange with Anne Wheaton where she referenced the various legal investigations underway. I can entirely buy this interpretation of events though that doesn’t still prevent Wil from stating as much (tl;dr ‘I Have feelings, but legal stuff so no comment).

He’s mentioned he gets the “Shut up, Wesley” mocking consistently and regularly.  Perhaps he got it at that site from time to time, but apparently he gets it everyday everywhere, and most of the time in not a jocular manner. I think that would wear thin after awhile.

I like Wil but he has a history of being a bit sensitive. A few years back, he left another web site after years of being a regular poster there because of what I thought was some fairly jocular mocking (eg “Shut up, Wesley”) he’d receive there from time to time.

Martin’s ability to lift two grown men simultaneously didn’t come up much in the series.

The Kinks are one of the bands I really wish I’d been able to see live in their prime. A friend’s parents saw them doing the Lola vs Powerman stage show live, and said they just had different costumes drawn on drop down window-shade style canvases, and would pull one up and drop another when they changed characters.
