counter point: I don’t see that much that can go wrong here, the supercharged V8 does not scare me, the likely culprit is the air suspension and that could be swapped to a traditional suspension at that time. I think a budget baller who has a few grand and some wrenching could live it large

This could potentially be a nice price if, and only if, the owner has documentation of maintenance.

It would appear they only manifest themselves when needed to take out an errant BMW driver.

It wasn’t efficient, but it was effective.

It’s bad.

Can we get a visual of all the vehicles in the Tracy stable at this point? I’m starting to think the backyard is looking like a Rent-A-Wreck lot.

How do you drive three hours there and back just to look at the thing and then have to do it all over again with a trailer?

I am surprised your landlords haven’t instituted the “buy one, get rid of one” policy over there.

Whatever issues it may have, though, I’m going to solve it.

If I ever need to sell a POS jeep, I am just going to have it freighted to your area and put on craigslist. Eventually, I know you will buy it

You must be new here.

I had an ‘84. That was both the best, and worst, car I’ve ever owned. I miss it, but I SO don’t miss it.

Do you have a thing against having 1 car reliably running?

I worked at the J-lube in the nice part of town. Remember, this was 25 years ago mind you....

Why hasn’t it sold? My $.02:

I’m probably in the (eventual) NP minority but... a great condition, dead reliable 5 speed convertible that will be fun to drive for $4500? Yes cheaper would be better but I can’t think of what else is out there in this category - mostly the reliable part.

The key to any successful getaway in a 700+HP (insert your desired car here) is an abundant fuel supply. Just look at the moron that tried to outrun the cops in his white Hellcat. He ran out of fuel before he ran out of road.

Chevy SS, it has 430 hp and it flys under the radar. The police would be looking for a Malibu.
