I don’t know if I think it’s the shitiest, but it’s among the most alarming. The reason for the institutional respect for the presidency that has built up over the years is the shared assumption that the president is a decent person, or at least has enough wherewithal and self-control to PLAY as a decent person, and

Of all the shitty, SHITTY things he has done, I actually think this could take the cake — at least right now. The fact that he said this shit in front of children, unchecked by anyone in authority at BSA, is just silent approval for the terrible things he said in his speech. If the BSA really didn’t endorse this shit,

Jon is a fucking idiot, where the main trouble seems to be that he stumbles dick-first into lucky outcomes despite trying his hardest to screw himself over.

Bingo. Ppl underestimating Cersei, and even though she’s already done a LOT to even the scales v. Dany

It’s only “publicly undermining” in Jon’s eyes though, as the rest of the Northern lords clearly appreciate a king who will listen to those around him and entertain other points of view. Jon obviously wants her to support him in front of the lords, which is understandable, but those meetings are a place where anyone

And if you’re wondering how Cersei is a threat. The Night King is coming from the north. Euron could easily blockade White Harbor. Lannister soldiers can be posted at the Twins.

She never said Tyrion wasn’t trustworthy. She didn’t believe it was really him writing it. And doesn’t trust Dany.

Also, Lady Mormont made the same exact objection in that council. But no one minds that.

It’s interesting how many people only seemed to like or tolerate Sansa when she was a captive or a pawn or being viciously abused. Now that she’s gaining agency and has opinions on how things should be done based on her experiences, people are back to hating on her. Equating her to annoying, naive season 1 Sansa is

This, all day. I can’t STAND Danerys, and it’s all because of Emilia Clarke’s one-note performances. I feel as though I should be rooting for her, but half the time, when she comes on the screen, I find myself idly swiping through my phone b/c I’m bored to tears.

Emilia Clarke is not just ‘not good at acting.’ She’s BAD at it.

She’s my least favorite character, in the book and the show. Which I don’t understand how she’s a fan favorite. Dany is just boring and Clarke’s acting is mediocre at best.

Emilia has a very expressive face (and set of eyebrows), but her interpretation of Dany seems to be all stone-faced, all the time. So yes: so very beautiful, so very boring.

I agree with almost all of this (except the Theon part)! When the show started I thought Emilia Clarke and Kit Harrington were the two worst actors, but the latter is getting better and the former is getting WORSE. HOW? Also, I’m super attracted to Euron and his crazy. Help.

WHY did the grayscale procedure have to be done while Jorah was conscious? Even if this society hasn’t developed general anesthesia, Sam could have hit him over the head with a bedpan or something.

Yeah she is not good. So very beautiful, so very one-note. To be fair, Dany is not a very well written character either in the books or on the show, it would take a skilled actress to bring gravitas to the role. The whole “beautiful princess chosen one” thing is such a tired trope, and it’s never really explained why

Agree with all of this. Emilia is so disappointing. I figured she would improve with time. But she is arguably the most important character on the show and while the looks are great, the acting is so weak that it makes me root against her entirely. Somebody would have offed this woman a long time ago, she does not

Because domestic violence is not about violence. It’s about control. I haven’t read this study in full, so I don’t know if control is mentioned. So many people thing violence is because of anger. He got violent because a woman wouldn’t listen to him or do what he said.

The opposite of “violent” isn’t “weak,” though.

You are being incredibly disingenuous. Casey Anthony is not a ‘non woman’ of course but men are more likely to commit violent crime. This is a fact.
