I believe there was only 2:45 of in ring action over the course of 7 hours. I do not remember my source.

Exactly! Moretti didn’t try to gather the ball and bobble it out of bounds, nor did he kick it, etc. I fully agree that should be incorporated into the rule implementation BUT then you start to get into subjectivity and determining intent, which is just another layer of ire to be levied.
UVA caused the ball to go out of play and Tech Man’s finger wasn’t going to change that. It’s pretty clear, right? But the rule is last person to touch the ball. So at what point does the spirit of the rule apply and when does it not?
Hangs a huge zero off the building in right.
That call isn’t getting the publicity and scrutiny it deserves. It really wasn’t even close, in real time!
Just know the Kurt Angle match was the low point and it’s a true shame that Baron freaking Corbin retired him. Angle is an all-time great but he should have never been allowed to wrestle when he came back to the WWE. What you saw was barely even a shadow of his former self.
Not to mention ads. More time to fill means more space for ads.
Fair point, but hell, preshow is already treated like C show and then half of the main show is a B show.
Well don’t forget the new “no automatic rematch” clause they’ve been throwing out there over the last little while. I know they’ll absolutely ignore it but, hey, maybe they won’t!
He has absolutely no muscle. It looks like his connective tissue is non-existent:
Unrelated but my friend pointed out Kofi’s chest and it was the only thing I could focus on for about 95% of his match.
Don’t forget Harper and Co. wanted more years so naturally, the Nats’ second offer had more years with less money AND some was deffered to 2070ish! Washington made offers just so they could say they made offers.
Exactly. It’s not that Punk is wrong, he most definitely isn’t(!), but the show seemed to lack context.
However, I think using Eddie, Macho Man, Jake the Snake and Piper, in some respects, do lend to the story. These guys were no doubt in pain 24/7 due to their in-ring careers and because they didn’t have adequate healthcare provided to them, they had to turn to other means of pain mediation and training. Those stories…
It sounds shitty but Owen didn’t die from lack of healthcare. I agree with your point regarding Piper and then using CM Punk, the most disgruntled guy of the last decade, puts objectivity in serious question. This piece would’ve resonated just fine without using those 3 guys, or at least not putting such emphasis on…
While it doesn’t take away from the point, using late-90s/early 2000s Hart and Piper and then CM Punk doesn’t paint a picture of objectivity.
I know this is not the main attraction but why is the third base coach so damn far down the line? I know the coaches box is more of a guideline but he might as well be next to the home plate ump.
I can’t wait for Toy Story Vs Predator
The best part of the NBA is the bench.
