I find fascinating to read the comments here from people saying they’re not into these type of games, preferring more direction about how to play while, to me, a 34 year old guy who grew up playing the original Wasteland and a lot of other stuff that didn’t tell you how to play, this game sounds amazing.

I went evil in Baldur’s Gate, and it was a fucking blast.

Ugh.

Can I choose to not be China’s bitch? Because I’d like to not be China’s bitch.

As much as I want to believe, everything, every piece of news that comes out about this game just tells me this is going to be terrible.

How about an update to deal with all the 13 year olds and their flying bikes?

The game is very, very fun, but with a dozen caveats. Right now, the biggest hurdle is that some of the best content in the game must be played on public sessions, and EVERYONE has a stupid fucking flying bike, and they’re dedicated to ruin your game.

Considering the game is usually filled with trolls using exploits and jetbikes to annoy people, I’m inclined to agree.”

The jetbikes have to go. Enough is enough.

Your post speaks right to my heart. Your story resonates so badly with my experience. Thank you.

“Sorry for the pain they have caused.”
Excuse me, but pain?
Fellas, I’m not an American, I live in a country where there’s racism but nothing like the actual stupid racism there is in the U.S.; and let me tell you, from an outsider’s perspective: you’re going at this wrong.

See, this is my problem:
The ideology that this game portrays was applied in our real world, and it always degenerated into horrible oppression and corruption, and I’m talking from the experience, I’m not an American citizen (and yes, Donald Trump is a dickhead).

We don’t. The channel you probably mean, Globovisión, was bought by chavismo about five years ago and all the printed media went out of business when the regime literally stopped bringing in paper for print. I swear I’m not making this up.

Oh, I’m pretty sure D4 looks great NOW.

This is precisely why I never pre-order stuff. And I don’t know if you guys remember, Blizz did this same thing with Diablo 3. Advertising stuff that’s not in-game and for such a price, freaking hell. It’s one of their in-house practices at this stage.

Also, Viktor Tsoi (amazing musician, gone too soon) was censored and hounded by his Marxist government, so... he probably wouldn’t appreciate the company these two are putting him with.

For everyone saying that you can’t blame Marx for what came later: take a read on the Paris Commune. Motherfucker criticized it for not being radical enough, imagine that.

Gorgeous cinematic and all, but I still don’t trust Blizzard to not be explotative to us consumers.

I had that same trail of thought regarding my future purchase of the new Warcraft 3. I want that game, but I cannot, in good conscience, keep supporting this company that’s not even the same Blizzard I grew up with. To me, even if they reverse the decision they did on the HS player, it’s like the veil has lifted: I

Defending the words and rights of powerful people is perhaps the most mundane and least transgressive thing an artist can do.”
