Consider the episode in which reanimated Gregor appeared out of nowhere to kill the blabber mouth peasant. Everybody mocked the premise and writing until the following week, where we learned more. There's more to this than we have seen.

In the Tower Of Joy scene, Meera's father, Howland Reed, stabs Ser Dayne in the back and saves Ned's life.

Definitely Shireen.

Perhaps he wargs back daily to the time it began to grow, and somehow shaves it. I just blew my mind…

He was ten when S 1 Ep 1 began, so surely he is at least capable of a Dirty Sanchez. Lol.

Is anybody wondering how Bran has nice trim hair and a clean, close shave despite the fact that he lives in a cave in the middle of nowhere?

At least he didn't ride in on a Unicorn…

You know, I had that same thought - that he would use them for experiments.

I was really happy that they followed up with "Gregor The All-Hearing Zombie" from Ep.2. They had a few of us really disappointed with what seemed like a really weak idea. Of course, we should have known better. The idea that Cercei would be obsessed with doling out punishment to anybody who speaks ill of her, is

Same here!!

I grow tired of the endless, baseless praise for this show. Your comments were really thoughtful and I appreciate them. As a fan of the show, some perspective goes a long way.

"She bears a certain resemblance to Rachel, and he had that dream right after Rachel died, and the waitress’ name is Di. Don would like to think it all adds up to something—a completed circle—but he’s fudging the math."

Sorry about that yup, hiccup with my comp…

Hmmm that guest is me Chad, replying to you…

Honestly, I need these reviews to really peel back the layers of meaning and symbolism. I am a music buff but not a TV or movie "guy". Until I read this I figured the waitress represented a few women like Megan, his stepmom and Rachel all wrapped up in one. Also small things like her name being Di went right over

No don't, it was a bit of a revelation for me too. It's just too easy to not pay attention to Nixon's speech and really try to draw those parallels.

This review really helped to break things down for me. I find so many aspects of an episode can elude me in their meaning or significance. There's two ways to watch this show - you can simply follow the lives of these characters, or you can look for deeper layers of meaning in the writing. It's more than a great

Well when Don is recalling a story from his childhood, I also thought that's where things were headed.

Damn you Cyrano… someday, my people won't have to endure the isolation that all of you two eyed freaks hand out.
