Having had the same 4.2 v8 in my RS4, the engine itself is fantastic- it’s the crap around it that tends to go bad. That being said, you need to do a thorough carbon cleaning every 10-15k miles with these FSI engines. That rumble tho...

Very nice Jason- cool video, though in the initial picture you had the whole Penny Dreadful vibe going on!

What an absolute fucking embarassment to the Evo legacy. They could have made an EV version of that tub of shit Outlander and resurrected their former halo offering with a proper redesign. Subaru can’t make WRXs fast enough- more than enough demand if the design and marketing is right. *Maybe* the dealer network is a

I seek a seat at this table as well.

I wish Winkelmann had come on in time to get some flared fenders on that RS3 sedan.

Thanks- the car is “euro spec” height- about 26.5 in. up (27.5 for US spec) with the torsion tube about 1/2 inch above wheel center

Lusted for one of these for years- finally found this 71 911S about 8 years ago, restored it and drive it regularly. Simple and extremely satisfying- and the engine at full song...good times.

Was that the final leg of the race?

Speaking of getting f*cked:

CPAs of the world rejoice! The bean counters at Fuji Heavy Industries have won yet again!

Agree completely, but I’m more of the opinion of what’s the fucking point when it’s two different technologies being compared? No shit the Tesla is faster. YES, we get it- the electric car can be faster than it’s gasoline-powered counterpart whether the cars in question are $120k apart or $10 apart. Unreal- a

Sideways or not, thanks for bringing this to us- very cool to see.

Completely agree with you here but the “pre-market” is already saying blah to the 718. The reasoning, whether stupidity or not, is going to dictate the success or failure of the car unfortunately.

Anyone else’s video get blurry at the end? Couldn’t see a damn thing.

I think the e36 interior was easily the most “sport-minded”- this was before they lost their way with way too much modern GT-luxury due to keeping up with the Joneses of MB, Audi etc. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind luxury but my e36 felt all-business compared to the interiors of the e46 or e92 I owned.

Surprised Audi allows an A3 and S3 and now a RS3 to exist in the US in the same sedan form at the same time. Maybe...just maybe we can see the effin RS4 Avant in the US. WHERE IS IT DAMMIT- WHEN IS IT COMING HERE? FORGET 3 VERSIONS OF THE 3- WHERE IS THE RS4 AVANT? Sorry about that- fits of Audi-related rage took over

Not one for white cars but damn looks nice

Ah, the wonderful world of ADM.

Love the “wtf” comments on the Periscope screen grab- fantastic.

Fantastic and thorough review- Curious how you found driving it in Sport mode vs Track mode
