I recently rented a Ford Ranger for a few weeks. It was a pretty nice driving truck, worked well. It’s also as large as a pickup should be for most uses.
When you really, really nail this, passengers who have been reading and look up will have an uneasy "easier, we're still rolling!" moment.
When you’re a parent of a small child, forgetting them in that rear-facing seat in a parked car feels like a looming nightmare. This should have been on the options menu as soon as cars were connected via cellular systems, but I'm glad it's there now.
