When it’s not COVID lockdown, my commute is 45-70 minutes each way, soul-crushing highway traffic sitting punctuated by 2 miles of curvy road and a few blocks of residential streets.
Personally, I think that’s one of the great tragedies of our age, that the cradles of the future of our economy, military, exploratory, and artistic dreams are tended by those driven by dedication because the compensation fails to reflect anything close to the true social value it bears.
