I call it smart because just because you have the means to do something like buy an exotic, doesn’t always mean you should.

Yea that kind of tells you that he was smart with his money. Honestly this vehicle lineup, while some may see it as meh, I see it as realistic and smart.

Agreed. That’s what struck me too. Not one exotic in that line-up. Almost like he was consciously avoiding exotics. In his business I am sure he hangs out with enough people who have Lamborghinis and Bugattis. But somehow he doesn’t have even one of them in his garage.

IS is a tight squeeze for a big fella, tho.

The Charger is the only suggestion that actually has more room in the driver’s seat than the Fusion.

I was also going to post the ATS-V, but you’re right. The same would go against the Focus RS, M3 and others of that size.

So I say BMW M5. You can get used ones at any price point you set. If you could get a CTS-V in that price, I’d recommend that. $40K really gives you a fair amount of choices if you’re willing to

Y’all did a nice job picking cars this time, which is surprising in itself, but it was all for naught really. The dude already mentioned the best answer to his own question. Chevy SS, easy choice. Next question.

Forget the ticking time-bombs that are the Germans.

Dude is 6', 300 lbs he wants something bigger than his Fusion. The ATS is tight on the inside.

Also, where have you seen a Panamera Turbo that doesn’t need an extended warranty?

Donnie just turned 30?

I’m surprising myself here, but I think Tom has it right with the Caddy - I’m a bigger guy as well (6'6" 300 lbs) and that would definitely be the most comfortable with a lot of great performance to boot. I’ve had a 335i coupe and it was surprisingly comfortable as well, but did require a bit more agility for

2008 Maserati!!!!! It’s got the power, it’s got the looks, it’s got reliabil...the looks!

How about a 2 year old Lexus GS F Sport; 308 HP,you get plenty of room and comfort, camry like reliability and heated and cooled front seats oh and it’s $5k under budget

Anyone recommending you buy a 7 year old AMG product is not your friend.

If it were me, I’d be looking pretty damn closely at the Charger or SS. Big, comfy, fast, great looking (especially the Charger), and practical.

Gotta be the Chevy SS or Charger Scat Pack. Old AMG could be expensive to maintain and I’m not sure he’d fit comfortably in the M3. Also, check out the rest of the driveway - Donnie clearly digs ‘Murica.

Chevy SS. Get the extended warranty from Chevrolet.

Nor should we tolerate something being described as a “third space.”

This was an enjoyable post. I’ve known TSA agents and they’re generally professional and serious about their jobs. While TSA has some bad policy and incidents, on the whole I’d rather have TSA than no TSA.
