At the risk of adding yet more labels in this post, a married woman who is “friends” with guys who want to do her seems to define “attention whore.”

Now playing

“Denial is not just a river in Egypt.” Tom Lykis laughs at the notion that none of your dude friends want to bone you:

So the car did something to somebody? Hmmm.....

No no stance wheels for my air-cooled Beetle? Well, screw them!

Seems like any “successful businessman” would have his girl working at his OWN damn shop. Problem solved.

Damn...in too late! You guys swiped all my worn out cliches. :(

Got dat one in Pepsi- 009, I believe. Possibly my favorite watch for the money.

That’s why I said screw ‘em both and got an Oris Aquis. Just say no to the Swatch mafia holding your watch hostage for mandatory service:

Jalops have posted it 3 or 4 times in the comments.

Those were $250 watches not too long ago. I bought TWO!

See my post about its brother, the SPC001.

I along with other watch guys are dumbfounded about TAG’s march upmarket in the last 20 years. Now they’re priced like Omega and more than Longines. I don’t get it. If they can get the money, why not, I guess?

My Seiko Sportura SPC001. Notice the drilled out hands?

Good call on the Seiko 5 series. Not known to most non-watch geek Yanks, great price for automatic movement, good, conservative styles and a true unisex size. Many have a 39mm case.

Probably my favorite racing watch.

There’s always “middle class, but courteous.” It’s a slippery slope from “not snobby” to redneck to ghetto.
