I think it’s an old school type of negotiation tactic, where they offer you more than half of your asking price (so as to not insult you) and expect that you’ll dicker back and forth until settling on a price that is below your asking price, but not too far below (so as to not insult you). What they fail to understand

Pivot steer is accurate, at least that’s what we called it. You risk throwing track if you do it too quickly on rocky or uneven terrain. The reason is that when the vehicle is spinning around, the side of the track is actually pushing sideways over the ground, so any large rocks, branches, or just simply loose dirt or

The fact that we still consider painted or (more likely) stickered metal plates with letters and numbers to be a secure form of identification is insane. We’re damn near 20 years into the new millennium and they still haven’t figured out anything more secure than something that can often be stolen with a butter knife.

The experience of shitting at NTC is truly the closest approximation possible of Hell on Earth. Already pissed off because you’re there, 120° outside, no shade, drenched in sweat, covered in grime from sweating for 2 weeks with no shower, sand EVERYWHERE, squatting over a bag to catch your own poo.

It’s ALMOST a good deal, but with that many miles on that era Chrysler, no fucking thank you. I don't care about the title, and I think the front clip swap looks good, but everything around the drivetrain is likely going to be shot.

I wonder if the clouds of blackness spewed out by military trucks have a similar effect on soldiers.

It’s a shit view, but it looks like the rear tires are bald as fuck. That might have something to do with losing traction.

They paid to have this built but haven't done a burnout? I don't trust that.

Be bold and venture away from Nissan. You want something that won’t look shameful next to a Corvette? Try this:

Professional courtesy? If they devised this assinine policy and couldn’t be bothered to properly justify it, they don’t deserve it.

How are people still surprised when a corporation screws over its workers in the name of profits? A corporation exists for one purpose only, to maximize value for the shareholders. Not to build cars. Not to employ people. Not to support a local economy. Maximize value for the shareholders. That's who calls the shots.

Anyone else ever notice that whenever a woman speaks out about guys being creepy it's ALWAYS guys that jump in to defend the creepers? It's pretty much never a woman. Hmmm... I wonder why that is...🤔🤔🤔

What I’m having trouble figuring out is why someone would accept the “offer” of $0. If they weren’t going to give her anything for the car, why was it even included in the deal? Yes, the dealer is scummy for doing this deal but how does a functioning adult let themselves get screwed over like that? Makes no sense.

In case anyone’s curious, here it is earlier this year.

Not gonna lie, I like it. Maybe I have no taste. Maybe it’s been “ruined” according to the purists. But I don’t care. I like it. I actually like the wing. I’m curious to know if i but I like it. I would DEFINITELY want to get it on a dyno before buying it, given the claim of ~500hp, though.

Ha! Squarical!

I lived in Lawton. Every time I drove to OKC I would sit at the speed limit and pass 90% of the other traffic.

Absurd. The fines for speeding in Oklahoma are so draconian that most vehicles on the highway go anywhere from 5-15 mph UNDER the speed limit anyways. If you go the speed limit you’re going to be passing literally EVERYBODY else, so you’re always going to be in either the center or left lane. So, what they seem to

Yes, it is ugly. Very ugly. First, there’s the fact that it has 682,000 sqft of bumper. Second, the ridiculous grill-esque texturing. It not only looks absurd but those hash marks will fill with insect carcasses on it’s first trip down the interstate. Third, the attempt to hide the charge-port door is downright

I hate seeing Lincoln flounder like this. Maybe they should stop trying to compete with the Germans and start going after the English. Remove all constraints and make something that will make Rolls Royce and Bentley take notice. Make the Continental something that Navigator owners aspire to. With Ford’s backing they
