So weird that having a black guy and a lady cast as main characters is somehow a valid criticism of a film to you.

Well, no. Statistically speaking, one can safely say you *will* die from something completely mundane, and be forgotten, no matter what you’ve accomplished.

A car-chase movie so narratively rich and dense even Max’s lost boot gets a story arc.

Uh, I most certainly did NOT forget about Kincaid. I thought he actually made a great impression with the little opportunity he was given.

ITS hard. I’m a passionate liberal, and I think the important thing with each alligation is to try and get into the details of each case: context and degree are important. Pretending to touch someone’s breasts when posing for a picturein front of people (Franken) is a million miles away from trapping a 16-year-old in

I dunno, go back and watch Bernthal’s last few episodes of TWD. He was the best actor on that show for a hot minute.

As a teen, I played a lot of Werewolf: the Apocalypse in large part because the cosmology was so interesting to me. The Wyld/Weaver/Wyrm trinity seemed really fresh and interesting at the time — certainly better than your standard good/evil and fire/air/water/earth fantasy cliches.

Exactly this — imagine if episode 6 and 7 were reversed. Then, El seeing mike and hopper at Hawkins in the (whatever) astral plane would be just as jarring for us as it was for her. We also would have to wait nearly two whole episodes for El to get back from the city and save the day. Big improvement.

Ew, dude. Just stop.

Welp, I’m officially on board.

“Shouldn’t there be zero violence by undocumented workers? Why should citizens tolerate any?”

Do you understand that “undocumented” doesn’t automatically equal “illegal”?

You know how I know you’re a child? You called somebody else “kid.”

Yes hello, if I have a gaping shotgun wound I would very much like a bandaid instead of nothing. I would also very much prefer it if half the country didn’t constantly threaten to rip off my bandaid NOW and EVENTUALLY replace it with a much smaller bandaid so that rich people can have my old, larger bandaid.

Huh, too bad. It’d explain how the Night King knew he’d get a dragon to melt the wall.

Total desolation.

You’re absolutely right — it’s really Blue Ruin that makes the case for season 3 being great.

I don’t think it’s been chucked away, exactly. Remember, that’s the Tick’s voice coming from Arthur’s night light — I think the Tick’s a tulpa.

Spinball was a fantastic game with a pretty serious learning curve. It took my 10 year old self so long to figure out how to beat the first level that it’s music and sfx are imprinted on my brain.
