It’s insane that a gaming montage lacking any context was uploaded by the White House account. Those clips have watermarks from numerous sources (none that I recognize) and there are no details under the video where they got it from, who made it, etc.

One of the linked recommended stories is, “Learn to take a compliment,” which is an important flipside of this coin. Whenever someone compliments (or acknowledges) you for something in particular, rather than self-deprecating or deferring to luck, hear what they’re saying.

That’s a bad argument whenever it’s brought up. Yes, you might be subjectively correct, but if enough people care, then by default it’s important enough to merit discussion and the lawsuit. No matter how small an issue is, if you’re at the center of it, it’s pretty damn important to you.
