Just gave this a try and the Cloud Alpha Wireless does indeed play audio while charging.

I recently snagged the Soundcore Q30s (for work/travel) for about $80. I am really impressed so far and my coworkers say the mic sounds pretty good. Not as good as my webcam built-in dual mic but still pretty good.
