Noted. And considered on my end too.

None taken!

I wish I knew my partner was an idiot. 5 trips to the emergency vet in one year. Every instance was due to my partner’s ineptitude.

1) encouraged to hunt for rats, the old dog and new dog got into a fight over dead rat-> emergency vet.
2) walking off leash, the dog took off to play with two giant German Shepherds and

Appreciate the response! Tougher to do when the party in question is your current partner and lives with you. Granted, I’m in planning mode for an exit strategy, but she is, and has been, making life pretty hellish.

It took forever (and lots of therapy) to figure out I wasn’t the problem, but working through some of

This begs the question: How does a person confront one of these folks without falling into the same trap?

What if your entire job description is “other duties as assigned”?

I’ve worked from home for 8+ years, the first 6 of which I lived by myself. The past 2 years, I’ve lived with my girlfriend, her daughter and the dog. I’ve found there are two KEY ingredients for this to work when co-habitating with anyone:

At that point I didn’t care what they gave me, because I was miserable. After about a few days of starting this antibiotic, most of my joints didn’t feel quite right, but I was starting to

Perhaps these folks are not actually your friends? Either that or leech off of them and become their proxy... (Thinking out loud)

Yep, that’s the one. I have both. The screen, while not super impressive, is much better on the yoga model. The non-yoga is washed out and does not look very good. The yoga is bright, and while not the best screen ever, is touchscreen and has much better brightness and viewing angles.

Upgrading a slightly older model vs this machine is largely personal preference IMO. However, the keyboard on the Yoga 11e is pretty amazing, despite the lack of the traditional ThinkPad nubbin. Quite frankly, I rather enjoy the lack of nubbin.

Don’t plan on gaming or running anything super taxing, but it’s surprisingly ok for the meager specs. It’s also up-gradable to 8GB of RAM. They’ve been selling the crap out of this, and it’s equivalent non-yoga version (usually for $200), over on Woot for months... Overall, a decent browsing and word processing

Let's say my bike was stolen. A) is there any chance of getting it back and B) if so, how?
