I love South Haven, but we’re fooling ourselves if we don’t think a beachfront town with a halfway decent economy isn’t for FIPs ;)

Source: any time I’ve ever done a track day at Gingerman, home of the Michigan Porsche Owners Club.

Only place worse is M1 Concourse, home of the Michigan “I own multiple Ferrari” club.

You are technically correct, which as we all know, is the best kind.

BUT.

You get to Van Dyke off Mound ;)

Fun fact: Kart2Kart, where Jalopnik hosted “Are You Faster Than...”, is off Mound Road.

I didn’t make it </3

My lawyers will be contacting yours.

As a proud U of M grad (2014, BSE) I would like to know exactly what you’re talking about

>Birch Run mall

Ah.

Yup. Lots of good memories in this car, regardless of how underpowered it is.

Protip: You can’t call Michigan roads “roads” any more. It’s just a collection of potholes with some flat asphalt in between.

You have it the other way around, friend.

Michigan takes parts of everyone else. Started to take Toledo, OH — realized gross, it’s part of Ohio, somehow got the UP and all of its beauty instead; Ohio gets to keep Ohio AND screws over Wisconsin.

People love to hate the around, oh, say, 1977 Corvette, because it was made at peak Oil Crisis, and therefore had pissall for power.

But damned if it doesn’t have looks, and it was my Dad’s first ever big purchase/toy.

He still has it, he raised me on that thing. One of the first vehicles I learned how to drive, and

I have freakishly long legs, and also wear size 13's.

I have no issue with the pedals — in fact it’s a joy to heel/toe them.

That said, I also have a smaller diameter steering wheel than stock, which grants additional knee room, and the seat was replaced with a lower sitting racing bucket seat.

that’s a pastor’s car if i ever heard one

I’m well aware. And I said “Hellcat/variant”.

I’m seeing R/T’s in that range, which is a good start...

Also, I found this gem:

Shouldn’t everyone hear him coming with the fury of God’s own thunder?

I vote Hellcat/variant Charger (NOT challenger). Not flashy, but when you want to make a sound, everyone will know.

I’m 6'4", I fit

And Tracy

so say we all

Doctors Stef HATES this one little trick!

From the factory, a 2007 V6 Ford Mustang’s electronic speed limiter is somewhere around 112 MPH.

The speedometer goes up to 120. The fifth gear redlines somewhere around 122.
