If I thought I had any years ahead of me where I was going to be living like Elon Musk, I’d end it right now.

Who does he think is going to pay us this “universal high income”? Certainly not corporations, and for the government to do it they’d need to drastically increase corporate taxes. Musk hates taxes and thinks the government should be as small as possible. Are...our future AI companions going to pay us??

AI has absolutely demolished my industry (I’m a Voiceover Artist). A LOT of my bread-and-butter; phone trees, museum exhibits, training modules, etc... has been completely supplanted by AI (and no, only a tiny, infinitesimal fraction of the industry is union eligible, that’s not helpful to the vast majority of voice…
