4G63's are the baddest 4 cyl. engines in existence....period. They have made several door cars go down the dragstrip in under 10 secs....easily.

I love this truck for many reasons, one being that it’s a real truck. What they sell today aren’t real trucks. 98% of the time they aren’t used as real trucks. In fact, my idea of a great truck would be the older 60's-70's style trucks w/ a modern powertrain (LS or I-6).

That really isn’t the point. You get to control the shift points. Auto’s don’t. I had a TL that wouldn’t shift into 5th until 45mph and it was so damn annoying. It could easily drive in 5th at 40mph, so if i was trying to get the best eco i could i would slap it into manual mode, shift into 5th then slap it back in…

LOL.... the ugliest TL ever built. Still like them (drove one and was content). I prefer the much cheaper 01-03 TL type S (especially when you can swap a manual or a competent auto from a newer accord.

I just love it too much not to sell my internal organs and my children and work the corner not to have it. THIS is one of those cars that sums up everything i love about cars. Econo-box hatch, with a sweet mid-engine V6.... awesome
