I’m watching the 2015 season of Celebrity Big Brother on YouTube and it’s insane and glorious. This puts American reality series to shame.

I adore this series, I adore how unlikable Rust made Gus, I adore everything Gillian Jacobs and Claudia O’Doherty do and say, and I adore Netflix for giving us a sixteen hour Judd Apatow movie.

There’s no All-Stars Untucked. The feeling is that there’s going to be an elimination component again so the backstage time will probably be taken up with that.

I’m really glad that sub exists but holy hell I agree about the hivemind thing. Apparently at orientation they give you a pill to make you believe Tyra Sanchez is the best drag queen that ever walked the earth.

I think Shangela will make Top 5 on the strength of her versatility. Her competitive drive (read: delusion) and misbegotten notions of ‘alliances being important’ (e tu, Jinkx Monsoon?) made her unbearable to me in Season 3, but it could serve her well in All-Stars, as we saw last season.

Yawn.

It’s so weird to keep hearing that because not only is Season 1 my favorite Leftovers season, it’s my favorite drama season of all time.

Griffin pulls it off because he’s good at the game and the best chance any of them have at surviving. Justin is almost at Simone’s level (I love Simone and I want her to be great but it’s undeniable that she sucks at PUBG in every way).

I love The Adventure Zone but I find Justin really irritating on Polygon’s Awful Squad series and it’s starting to taint my enjoyment of his other work. 

The only thing that skeeves me out is the occasional reminders that this was made seven years ago, specifically when they make fun of fat people and trans people. It’s like oof guys, was this really cool to do this recently?

When have they ever said that they are some voice of political reason? If anything they’ve distanced themselves from that, so using it as a reason to hate on them seems misguided.

Jesus christ it’s a fucking comedy show. You assigning such hardcore negativity to their belief system is infinitely more annoying then the belief system itself.
