Great article btw. I’d say you’ll probably be on your death bed before the AI gets that good, but AI is definitely coming for certain fields. Art, I doubt, will be one of those things. We may use AI to give us new ways to create art, but I think we’ll adapt to that.

I went down the rabbit hole. Hinge was by far my best experience as a man. Especially on the premium subscription. Tried them all, even paid, after I got dumped out of nowhere. I basically had a year of far too many dates and apps, BUT I did find my human.

This comment aroused me.  I don’t really agree but man I would have loved that.  Give me a new Mechcommander, Battletech, and a Mechwarrior with a bigger budget and I’d be in heaven.

This is how sports fans have talked for years. Games are now insanely popular and they get the same treatment.

So up front, I’m in accounting. If I look at a video game I see crazy amounts of risk. It’s similar to building a rocket. If it explodes on take off, you’re getting almost no return on the investment. So you have to signficant costs front loaded (much like movies).

You’re playing with fire. I personally don’t love Zelda. I can respect the clever systems it has, but it’s just not for me.

Yea, I’ll second this. Some of the situations could be more clear, but I’d prefer that rather then being able to predict everything.

Not trolling, but there has to be a ton of things that this also benefits.  Like there’s some animal/plant out there just begging for the temp to go up.

We don’t give near enough credit to the fact that this thing is still going. Just an absurd amount of time under insane elements and no failures.
