Why does Andy miss it and wish he could buy it back? Did I miss part of the video?

I get that fines may not effectively disincentivize people from being idiots, but ... who currently pays for the clean-up and necessary inspections?

I really enjoyed your Car Styling videos; are you going to do any more of those?

Great stuff! Are you going to do more of the car style magazine videos? Those were excellent.

I can’t believe I haven’t seen it yet, but Saab had fantastic wheels throughout its existence.

My favorite vehicles sold in Mexico are the UAZ Hunter and UAZ Bukhara. I’m surprised these didn’t make the list.

Exactly right. I really enjoyed this article and didn’t even realize it’s a click-through slideshow until I read your comment and went full screen. Forget that...

This guy is just trolling for fun. Either that, or he didn’t read literally the first sentence of your article. Anyway, fuck that guy. And thanks for these articles! I appreciate that you incorporate some nuance in your posts.

great story! I love fortnine too, but thanks for diving deeper!

First Gear: I rented a 2020 Tacoma and I hated almost everything about it. The exterior is huge, the interior was cramped, the bed was too short to fit my (small) motorcycle without the tail gate down, the engine (I had the v6) was loud, buzzy and gutless, and that transmission, my god the transmission was horrible.

I always enjoy your honest motorcycle stories. Things don’t always go according to plan, and most of the time seem to work out all the same. Anyway, I look forward to your zero sr/s and streetglide reviews (unless I missed them? I’ll have to check). Are you reviewing the livewire too?

I enjoyed the hell out of this. Great mix of people stories, travelogue, and car nerd stuff! Look forward to the next installment!

the predictive text is one thing that’s not as good as android. It’s never autocorrected address to ADHD, but it corrects ‘at’ to ‘address’ all the time. I’m used to swiping from my old android phone, and I think it just doesn’t work as well with iPhones.

I recently switched from android to iPhone (rest of the family had iPhones), and it’s actually been a frustrating experience... Apple’s autocorrect and autotype is really stupid compared to android (I’ve given it 3 months now to learn my habits/abbreviations/etc and it still autotypes ADHD’ anytime I attempt to type

Ugly duckling? I’m so disappointed to hear that people think that. Personally I think the Himalayan is one of the best looking ADV bikes out there, with classic, well proportioned styling. I ended up getting a used Super Sherpa because Himalayans were back ordered everywhere.. And now I’m a little sad, because I have

All of these were hilarious. I especially enjoyed the mental image of Obama’s in-laws living in an RV in the yard and the fake shuttle being purchased by a museum.

Sounds like you drive a manual. In auto transmission cars, you probably control your low speed reversing with the brake pedal.

You’re so sure about this, but what’s the manual take rate on other japanese cars in a similar market segment? The BRZ/86? What about WRXs/STIs? Those sell like crazy and STIs are manual only. What about Civic SIs/Type Rs? All those cars, though varying in price, are made for people who want a fast, fun, immature/playf

I’ve been thinking this as well. In my anecdotal experience, most people navigate via smart phone rather than through the car’s infotainment system due to ease of use anyway. I’m all in favor of eliminating giant screens. For that matter, eliminate some of these stupid safety regulations. You don’t need backup cameras

I’ve been driving a 2008 9-3 2.0T wagon (with a manual) for the past few years and it has proven to be remarkably reliable. So far I’ve only had one serious issue (then a few stupid ones like the passenger door handle breaking, alarm system thinking the car’s been broken into and one or two other nuisances) and I’m
