the obvious difference is that sports cars aren’t a physical menace on the road like the average pickup truck. Even if the driver is an asshole, I can still see around the car and the car’s driver can probably see me. The full-size pickup driver can’t see whats directly in front of, or behind him.

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I prefer incandescent bulbs.. I find the warm hue easier on the eyes (for headlamps and interior lights) and the heat generated by headlamps is useful in icy conditions.

Unfortunately, FWD with weight behind the front wheel will lead to a lot of tire spin. Need that weight to bear down on the driving tires. I used to have a second gen Rav4, which was FWD with shorter front overhangs. It looked better that way, but unfortunately the tires would slip easily with accelerating up-hill.

Boy that front overhang makes it ugly..

Why do so many new trucks have a ‘FWD appearance’ with a long overhang up front? It’s so ugly.

What makes me especially sad is that even if I were to pick up the V90 wagon in Sweden, they won’t let me buy the manual version they sell .. in Sweden. I’ve emailed volvo multiple times about this. They build it there! Why can’t they sell me one?

Daihatsu failed so hard in America that most off-road enthusiasts don’t even recognize the Rocky. Which is a shame, because these things are pretty good. And cute as a button.
