I dunno, anyone have living memory of Americans killing English people due to their ethnicity or vice versa? No? I’m pretty comfortable saying they are different then.
1. I think she objects more to the fact that Trump is doing his damndest to roll back protections on LBGTQ people, endorsing the caging of children, and willfully steering us into the climate catastrophe we are already heading towards rather than “being a buffoon”.
That just encourages refs to throw a flag if they think it’s even possible knowing they can “fix” it after the play if (and only if) they do so.
Same here. I like Bautisa and Nanjiani. I like action/comedies. The premise looked a little like expanding on the relationship between Deadpool and his cabdriver sidekick, which I had enjoyed in small doses.
The legs thing is new to me, but the jeans thing dates way before “the youths”. Jesse Ventura talks about it at length in his book that came out ~20 years ago.
Wait for it...
I promise you that in his head he’s the hero of that story.
Sure. I think the fact that most of my “experience” (and by “experience” here I mean random hot stove chin scratching and speculating) is in the MLB realm is not serving me well - given the generally longer development cycles and far lower cap on how much impact a single player can make.
God dammit I should not be laughing at that. You are a bad person.
The kid seems like a real class act (in addition to, of course, one hell of a tennis player) too. Good feels all around.
Huh, see I think the fact that they are not very good is a reason *not* make this signing. If there’s a team that’s very good but not quite over the hump and figure to have their key pieces locked up for 2 years, that seems like a decent risk to take to see if you can put together a couple dominant years with a good…
(That being said I think the Knicks are lying and were absolutely prepared to offer the max.)
Well, yeah, I mean “sucking” is the worst case scenario for basically any NBA franchise, so given that the worst case scenario is, in fact, as bad as it can be, that seems like a reason to consider not doing it.
Yeah, I don’t think the decision not to sign a 32 year old player coming off a big injury when your team is as crap as the Knicks is is a bad decision at all. If they didn’t have such...shrill personalities as SAS and Dolan constantly yapping about how important the Knicks are it would hardly be worth mentioning, but…
So...lesbians can steal souls? So *that’s* the homosexual agenda!
I mean...yes it is, but this is terrible in it’s own right so there’s no real need to slippery slope it...
I believe this was done in the previous iteration of American professional soccer for a while - basically it was like a hockey penalty where the striker gets to come at the goalie, who is on their own to decide whether to come out, stay back etc. I expect that may have some “getting kicked in the head” related issues…
Not right now.
“VAR needs to be on a contingent basis. Only if a referee is unsure on a call should it be reviewed.”
