Yeah, in the first half there were a couple times Morgan was streaking down the middle but she looked pretty clearly offside to me and Rapinoe seemed to see it too and didn’t deliver her the ball.

Yeah, that did seem shitty. It’s one thing to boo a player if they seem petulant about a call that went against them or one that appears to be diving or milking/faking an injury (I mean, don’t get me wrong - that can be pretty shitty too), but Bárbara did literally nothing other than goaltend.
Well that just tells me I’m going to be a huge asshole “stage dad” in 5 or 6 years :P
I’ll take that bet, but I’ll be making it with BlartCoin.
I don’t think that really matters. I mean the Marvel universe (like any comics universe that’s been around for 40+ years) is a massive mess full of contradicting character traits, plotlines, characters who are definitely dead/evil/whatever until they aren’t, etc. I’m not sure the task of figuring out what plotlines…
I mean, I would have said that about Guardians of the Galaxy too. The MCU seems to have made it pretty clear that the quality of the writing, casting, tone, and direction are what’s important.
But what does US Mens Soccer forward Paul Arriola think about this?
“They’re not booing, they’re saying boooooooobs”
So my kid isn’t in little league, but we watch his friends, who are 6 and 7, play in the local league. In that league the kids are pitched to by parents, get 10 pitches until they hit one, can only go one base per hit, and they don’t keep score. The only “umps” are the same parents who are also the coaches. That’s…
Allison Hannigan looks great!
Who just happened to be holding a kitchen knife? And who didn’t report the attack? I mean, maybe, but that’s not where I’m putting my money...
Yeah, Drake getting to feel good is the only real downside here. Maybe he’ll tear his achilles celebrating.
I’ll represent the non-insane-entitled-asshole warriors fan here just to say that 100% agree. I’ll also *disagree* that “history” will remember how beat up this Warriors team was - yeah people have brought up 2015 in this specific context, but when talking about this Warriors dynasty, nobody ever says “but 2015…
Just the fact that he calls the fleshlight “she” is too much information...
So...your defense is “he didn’t sexually harass every woman he ever worked with?” Nice straw man.
I feel like the Simpsons kind of lost its way (for me anyway) when they made Flanders pathetic (primarily by killing Maude). The fact that Flanders had a perfect life as a foil to Homer was kind of the point, and they even already had Milhouse’s dad if they wanted to run with the “pathetic single dad” thing for some…
I think the Tanzania one is the episode that finally made me swear off Simpsons forever, so the fact that it’s in the middle of the list does not speak well to late period Simpsons to me.
Wow, that was a long walk.
Ever since it came out that Weinstein used “is a nightmare to work with” as code for “wouldn’t sleep with me” when discussing Ashley Judd with Peter Jackson, I can’t ever really take “enormous pain in the ass” at face value any more. I mean, she *might* be but...
Story I heard is (with all appropriate skepticism of “a guy who heard from another guy told me”), is that Ortiz was sleeping with the wife of an organized crime figure/drug lord and that said criminal paid off a local cop to kill him. I don’t stand by the veracity of that in any way, but hey, why not spread random…
