Yea, it’s nuts to think people have no idea what high rates really are.
I sure don’t, I thought my 7% car note was high (which, it was in comparison to other rates at the time).
Makes you wonder where all that extra money went... Inflation, wage stagnation, etc...

No one needs permission to spend their money.
There’s definitely quality of life to consider.
If you have no debt, and have a plan to support yourself in retirement - hell even if you have a boatload of debt and no plan for retirement - you can spend your money as anything that makes you happy. Just don’t complain

“...I’m not black like Barry White, no I am white like Frank Black is...

This is certainly true.
There’s:
1. I don’t make enough money to pay for basic necessities.
and
2. I probably make enough money to pay for basic necessities, but my spending is not controlled so I struggle.

I’m calling bullshit on this entire story.
Not the fact that they label BLT with Cheese that way, that he went back and said something.

This reminds me of the joke about drinking:

Be glad you aren’t 10-20 years older, double-digit APR was not out of the question and 4.5% is still historically low for any loan
Hell my first car note I took out in 2009 was 7% because I had poor credit. Still paid it off early.

Same.
It’s hilarious. Let him roll on everyone.
The only downside is taxpayers will be footing the bill for his Witness protection, and how the fuck is that going to work with all that shit on his face?

He bought he necklace for 95k I’m guessing.
I’m sure it has far less than that in materials, making it worth far less than that.
Add in the fact you won’t be able to get more than scrap for it unless some BTC millionaire who likes 69 wants to buy it.

Estimating 17 miles additional range while he was parked at work - this was back in August, and I believe he’s added more panels since then (one that lays over the windshield).
Remember this is a functional prototype. The proof of concept is certainly there.
For what I think was a cost of $5-6k for the car, minimal

A buddy of mine bought an older EV and put in some solar panels to charge while he’s parked.
I don’t know all the ins and outs of the setup, and it’s definitely not for everyone, but so far so good and it seems like a good way to get a cheap EV and squeeze the life out of it.

Gun shops won’t buy them?

The window seat has less leg room under the seat in front of me (from my experience). If I have a bag under there (which I usually do), there is little room for me to put my feet.
The aisle and middle seats have about the same amount of room under the seat in front of me, which is more than the window has.
At least

Oh yea, special circumstances like that I would have declined as well, “Sorry I’d like to see the Northern Lights”

Yea, that’s entirely possible.
Who knows, the wife was probably glad CallsOutBullshit declined so she could sit by herself.

Should have asked whoever was sitting next to him (behind you) if they wanted to switch with the wife.

If the seat is a similar spot (aisle for aisle, etc) I’ll usually oblige the request.
Recently an older gentleman asked me to switch his middle seat for my aisle seat and said he had bad circulation in his legs. I agreed since it was a short flight, even though I specifically picked the aisle because I’m taller and

How is that legal?

We had a Sunday wedding and everyone got sauced (booze bought before hand naturally).

I told my Dad he might as well throw his name in there.
He’s retired on SS, barely scrapes by and lives in a relatively small suburban area. Would certainly save me the ~$1k a year I pay for his car insurance.
