How are they making a profit?! Batteries are expensive. If it's a 36V system, search scrap yards for scooters like Birds and whatnot. They have about 480Wh, 36V packs. A few of those in parallel would be a nice upgrade.

Came here for a solution to a 90s Nissan missing functional cup holders. Jalopnik does not disappoint; mostly Nissans shown.
Can a manufacturer just make an all grille front end to shortcut this incremental grille size battle? We can then agree it’s an awful idea and start making cars that don’t hurt to look at.
Dudebros are buying up paramilitary looking vehicles like crazy. The new Gladiator will print money. Toyota would be dumb not to jump on that trend by bringing that Land Cruiser. It looks like every dudebro's wet dream. Every crossfit parking lot would be packed with them.
You're correct, if you ignore decades of automotive history, motorsport, and influence.
Ugh. Audi did that too. An early R8 would a quattro R8, and a current one is a Audi Sport R8.
The Fiero kinda is a body kit. See image Stan posted.
The Corvair is also one of those free* cars that you can drive for years and sell for more than you bought it for.
It's going to be 2017 Juke, and it will go for a bottle of Johnnie Walker. Mark my words.
You have not seen sand brahs heading up to the 14 on a Friday afternoon. In two years i have seen two jack-knifed campers (both towed by Cummins Dodges, what else), and an RV that went hopping through a grassy median and basically disintegrated without hitting anything. That’s only what i saw during my commutes.
If you ever have a chance, pick up a TDI piston and rod. It is shocking how much heavier they are compared to a gas engine's. Whenever I had one of those engines apart, it always blew my mind how that sledgehammer of a reciprocating assembly can be attached to a crank spinning at 5k times a minute.
Serious question. How to do get just 168/163 out of a 2.5L engine?!
The 8 series would make more sense as a two door. Some people want a nice luxury car for themselves or don't have a need for functional rear seats. It's a car to reward yourself with. Why spoil a shape and compromise the interior with additional doors and seats?
Speaking of trickling down, this team seems to have come up with an idea that should be mandatory on all road going BEVs. Battery packs having direct plumbing to pump fire suppressants into the pack. Why isn't this a thing?!?! Looking at you Tesla!
Most of us don’t care much for modern cars anyway. The used car market is rich with older manual cars that, to us, are much more attractive than most new cars even if they came with manuals. In a few years the manual trans will have no place in EVs and eco-friendly powertrains anyway. Why are people still arguing over…
Does anyone know how much the old speedsters are going for nowadays? I know a guy with a white one with 6,300mi. Just collecting dust in a garage.
I had a 2002 MK4 GLS, 2.0 5MT. Boughr it brand spanking new. The day I brought it home, the alarm wouldn’t stop going off. I ended up driving it to a vacant supermarket parking lot and left it there overnight so I wouldn’t have to listen to the alarm. Next day the dealer took it in and found a faulty trunk latch. Ever…
I want one. Is there a diesel with a manual coming? Cash in hand
I have a hunch that the base models will be worth the most in the long run. Jeeps are all about customization. I'll enjoy the truck as is, and then sell it as a blank canvas to some dude-bro.
After two days they go straight in the washer fluid reservoir
