I’ve been either crying or on the verge of tears for two days now. I’m glad this woman survived to bear witness. I mourn, with all civilized society, for those who did not survive. May her words bring some measure of comfort to their loved ones, in comfortless times.

I’m not sure if I’m more offended by the Donald Trump remark or the Australia remark. Thinking about it some more, definitely the latter.

Real talk: NZ has a serious problem with rape and sexual assault. It’s deeply entrenched and I have no clue on what to do about it because it can’t even be spoken about without being silenced, like the women mentioned here.

Watching it the fifth time (because yes), I noticed that a bunch of people right behind him aren’t reacting to his speech. Paid plants? Forced to be there by their employers? I’m so curious now...

You’re going to love this one. So a friend of mine posted an article on how more women own game consoles than men. So a guy (natch) responds with “That’s because games are better on PCs and women don’t have the brains to know that.” — I’m paraphrasing, but that was the basic message.

Something about women ALWAYS walking away with all of the man’s money after a divorce, men paying huge alimonies to lazy women who won’t work, blah blah. Their ideas of what happens in the world are so far removed from the actual reality.
