How can reusing bread possibly be in line with health codes?!

I’m so glad I’m old and married, because these dating apps sound like a goddamn nightmare.
My first thought as well. Take it home, play it cool, and call the dealership and ask if it’s ready. “What do you mean it was stolen? How?”
Unacceptable lack of Mark Hamill in there.
Counterpoint: This looks AMAZING! It looks like Taxi Driver but with the Joker as Travis Bickle. DeNiro and Scorsese are even involved! Joaquin Phoenix has a manic Daniel Day-Lewis vibe!
I hate Walmart.
Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World is imho a grossly underrated film. It’s sweet, funny, moving, and one of the few Steve Carell movies I actually like.
About Time?
I’d add TiMER to this. There is ONE special effect (the movie’s premise is that a timer implanted on people’s wrists tells them when they’ll meet their soul mate), but it’s otherwise an interesting sci-fi take on romantic comedies.
Groundhog Day?
In six years they’ll be able to write the exact same article about Rothfuss’ Kingkiller Chronicle as we will still be awaiting Doors of Stone.
These are all about piloting a vehicle of some sort or another.
I tried the other Harry Potter game, I really tried, but it’s absurd. Here wait 8 hours to save this kid from a vine killing them OR YOU CAN GIVE US $20 AND SPEED UP THE PROCESS.
“Not scarring a child for life” is a depressingly low bar to clear

Sorry Steven, you’re wrong. The fact is that “TV movies” in the traditional sense barely even exist anymore beyond The Hallmark Channel. I would concede that a film designed to fit the rhythms of commercial breaks and edited for time by default is a very different beast from a theatrical film, but Netflix clearly…
Hey I like musicals a lot and “The Blues Brothers” is a great one.
Katana Hot Tin Roof, that actually kind of hit at how insular school communities can be - that the Nerds and Closeted Gays knew she would pretend to have had sex with them, while the Mean Girls and Jocks didn’t have a clue, because...who pays attention to Nerds anyway?
Oh totally agreed! She’s so great on iZombie!
I had 0 expectations going in, and that paid off handsomely when this movie ended up charming me completely. Hell, that “Pocketful of Sunshine” sequence at the beginning laid the groundwork of the type of movie it was going to be, and it was a perfect tone. So glad to see Asian actors getting lead roles these days.
