That's like saying it's okay for a prosecutor to go to someone accused of theft and offer them a plea bargain with no jail time as long as they agreed to have their hands cut off as punishment.
I was actually in a fraternity in college (in Mississippi!), and while I don't have any strong allegiance to the fraternity or keep in touch with many of those guys, I do have fond memories of drunken hookups with more than a couple of my "brothers." So I guess there's that.
