It doesn’t mater where on the plant the tomato is growing, just that you can pick it as soon as it begins to ripen and finish ripening it inside. those that began ripening on the vine will ripen inside just fine. picking a fully green tomato low on the plant is not beneficial nor will it have the appropriate flavor to
