Hey, I’m pretty sure I’ve been there - off Route 2 in Warwick? 😂

This. Even though I was still pretty young when I got married, I didn’t want a registry. My MIL was basically like, you can get the things you want, or the grandparents are going to wing it. She was right, and I was grateful to not have a peach and seafoam bathroom motif.
This is so very specific, and you’re one thousand percent correct.
Whoa, that’s awesome - good kitty! I kid a bit, as mine actually did alert me before an earthquake once - cats are definitely super perceptive and smart. I guess it’s the repetitive every day tasks that don’t seem super well suited to cats. Emotional support animals I can totally see, just not necessarily the service…
Wait, service cats? What service would a cat possibly provide? Mine wouldn’t piss on me if I was on fire, much less reliably guide me or open doors. I love her and all, but she’s a total asshole.
I’m so very glad - I was on a computer I wasn’t signed in to, but rooting for you and your sweet kitty nonetheless!
I can relate, and I’m sorry. I hope tomorrow is better ❤️
Shit, I’m so, so sorry. Mother’s Day is rough for me, too, but in a whole different way. Hugs to you ❤️❤️❤️
There aren’t words that do it justice, but I’m so, so sorry.
Agreed - pretty much everything I dislike about Affleck is what made him good in that part. And Tyler Perry was a surprisingly good addition to the cast - I’m not sure I’ve seen him in anything quite that dark before.
I seriously watched that entire godawful series because of him. (And Natalie Dormer, natch).
I’m a navy wife, and the LuLaRoe is RAMPANT in Norfolk. I actually like the couple of things I have from them, but the VAST majority is so fugly.
Okay, Rod Thrustblaster made me spit my coffee out. Well done!
Baby rabies, lol! I’m stealing that next time someone gives me shit for not wanting kids!
Same! I’m pushing 40 and love most of what I’ve tried from them. It’s easy and I look polished without being overly done up. The stretch concealer is seriously awesome, and I’ve tried SO many others.
Be that as it may, it’s actually good stuff for those of us who are low maintenance on the day to day. I’m so not in their target demographic, but I love most of what I’ve tried, and it gives me a polished look without being overly complicated.
I really hope that he or she responds, because I am really interested in this perspective as well. We obviously have a pretty awful track record on how we treat Native Americans in this country, and while I don’t see how this statement is contributing to that treatment, I’d love to know if there’s something I’m…
Im sorry about your grandmother - mine passed two years ago next month, and I still miss her terribly.
Same. It’s all about dog poop and people selling LuLaRoe/ThirtyOne/Scentsy or whatever MLM crap the neighbors are hawking. I haven’t seen so much of the crime/racist stuff so far at least.
While I honestly never considered changing my last name when I got married, it definitely doesn’t hurt that my married name would sound ridiculous with my first name. I don’t think that’s an insignificant factor in your decision, tbh.
