Deadspin and Jezebel are the two websites I read the most on a daily basis (super weird I know) and I am super giddy about today.

The pessimistic part of me hopes that Clinton wins instead of Sanders. Not because I think Sanders doesn’t have a chance at the general but more precisely because he might actually win.
How is it “very clear” there will be war? A vote for Clinton is about 99% likely to be a vote for a continuation of the past 8 years. And those past 8 years, while not perfect and disappointing at times, are a fuckton of miles beyond better than what would have happened if we had continued another 8 years of W.
People who want to make sure they have an ideologically pure voting record at the expense of real people getting hurt by letting a Republican win really make my heart hurt.

I can understand why a lot of these under-30 Sanders supporters are under the delusion that America will “finally wake up” if Trump or Cruz are elected instead of HRC, but there’s no excuse for people as old as Susan Sarandon.
