“I wanted to challenge the writers. I told them: ‘You guys have done a great job - 97% of the episodes have centered on me, but how can we make an episode that is even more about me, that has even MORE BURNHAM!’”

Burnham and the writing staff are only comfortable when the story is 100% focused on Burnham, so a story with two of her talking to each other is their masturbatory dream!
But above all, “Face the Strange” is Michael’s episode
Well said
Strange New Worlds would have really benefit from more episodes this last season. Basically three of the ten episodes were “novelty” episodes (eg The musical). These are great, but when they are borderline half your season it starts to get you into trouble.
Maybe, I think Jonathan Kent dying of a heart attack that even Superman can do nothing about is a key character moment for Clark (and yes, I know it’s from the original movie and not the comic).
I was going to say something very similar. This is a real misstep by A24. Depending on what happens in the next 12 months, Musk could be persona non grata in much of the civilized world. And I’m talking about orders of magnitude beyond where he is now.
So they’re just going to keep on picking 80+ year old actors to play Ross over and over as they pass away after doing a movie or two?
You just knew Shamalamadingdong was going to go full nepobaby.
It’s funny, I never really looked at his face before, but I think if you shaved his head he would be an intensely ugly man.
I enjoyed both the movie and the book, but they are SOOOO different. I wonder which way they are going to go?
I’m more cynical than that. I think he did it to try and make sure that neither side boycotts the movie. It was all about maximizing profits.
Grievous was a terrifying enemy to the Jedi in Clone Wars. Then in the movie he was basically a five minute joke. Very disappointing.
It was so much better that Lucas went to extraordinary lengths to bury it, so people couldn’t watch it and compare it to his trash.
Only if it has a fight between Samberg and Taylor Lautner.
Comments are gone now at Kotaku. Wasn’t going there much anymore, but that finishes it off for me.
He also fairly publicly tried to use a “do you know who I am” to cut in front of hundreds of people (with his family while on a ski trip) at the Bozeman Montana airport once when a bunch of flights were delayed. Considering the average wealth and influence of that crowd, it did not go over at all. Security laughed in…
Normally this would be a great situation to short, but the possibility of this being a method of transferring money directly to Donald Trump are far too great to risk any kind of normal market prediction. Trump owns about half the stock. If the Saudis, for example, want to give Trump money, all they have to do is buy…
I’ve read six months.
