Sorry it wasn’t for you. I am usually very picky and I really liked it, my teenage boys really liked it, and I feel like a large number of people here liked it as well. I think the show being animated and not part of the continuity let them be a lot more creative then they usually were.  But tastes are tastes.

Two Questions:

With Yellowstone being gone I can’t tell you how much trouble Paramount is in now.  Paramount should be suing Costner for a billion dollars.

What If was wonderful - I have never heard anyone complain about What If before you. Ms Marvel was great, but it was obviously a kids show (absolutely nothing wrong with that).

I never understood this. These guys aren’t making five year 100 episode arcs. How much work/money does it take to fully storyboard (script and drawn visuals) 40min x 8 episodes of TV? Compared to the cost of actually making the real show it seems absolutely idiotic to not have a full on storyboard of the entire season

Davies: “I shot it in my basement!”

I think he’s desperately been trying to keep the movie half from completely going off the rails (and the entire Star Wars side is desperately trying to get him to help them because they have definitely gone off the rails!)

I just think very few people (for some reason) know that many large outlet reviewers have effectively seen the entire second season except for the final.

The notes said drunk “Late on set” even if true (and there is a world of difference between having a few drinks and being drunk) it sounds like he was having a few drinks after things were done for the day.  I would have zero problem with that.

Thanks for clarifying!

We really shouldn’t beat around the bush.  He was fired.

Firmly passing the line of parody at this point. Next up:

Over on Earth 2, Filloni is sighing in relief that he decided to write this story as one season and got to tell his story with Stevenson before he died instead of that crazy plan he had to stretch it out over three years so he didn’t have to come up with more ideas.

At least in the wikipedia novel summary, the owning couple that comes back aren’t preppers.

Yes, but I also think a massive motivation is being vindicated in their behavior and smarter than everyone else. Every Prepper is desperate to be proven right and learn that they haven’t spent years of time and a large portion of there disposable income for a paranoid main-character fantasy.

It wasn’t bad, but it was definitely stretched out.  Which (and Filoni can’t see the future) makes the loss of Stevenson even more rage inducing.  If the whole story had been told in 10 actual hour long episodes instead of stretched out to three seasons, Stevenson would have been able to finish the story.

It was ok.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, is worse than Baby Leia. That is simply the end of the discussion.

It also would have been a great place for U2 to play in their prime.

(Bono was completely anemic in those clips. Just sad. I saw him 25 years ago, he would punched that old man in the face for charging people money for that performance.)

Sorry, this is a Doomsday Prepper’s wet dream.
