Kind of shocking that they have not tried to remake The Thin Man series at this point.

I really hope this is the end. Stewart is a fantastic actor, but you could tell last year that the age has finally caught up with him. He’s lost some weight and they are needing to put a lot more makeup on him, he’s not nearly as steady as he was before, and he just doesn’t have the same kind of control over his body…
If you consider Tesla a car company, there are very few arguments that it should be worth even as much as BMW (which makes twice as many cars, has twice the employees/engineers, twice the factory capacity, and at least as good high quality brand recognition).
I think for a while now smart people in the film industry have figured out that you can make plenty of money launching movies in January now.
The shows are a complete affront to the books.
Really appreciate that Jonah Hill’s girlfriend is not some matchstick thin supermodel. Romantic comedies with some real human bodies is a nice change.
I hate to break it to them, but Ezra Miller is going to be in jail if they can’t convince him to plead guilty in his current breaking and entering case WHERE THEY HAVE HIM ON CAMERA BREAKING AND ENTERING. He will serve time if he fights it in court and he is 100% going to lose.
Discovery has reached the point where even the cast has given up on the show. You can tell by the performances that even they know it’s garbage at this point. The sooner the show is cancelled, the better it will be for Trek. Let them all declare victory and move on to their “movie” careers.
It’s very good, but I think both Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite are superior. Absolutely no snark, I just think they are more original worlds, more interesting characters, and a more complex story.
One of the core problems with the Indy franchise is that it’s linked to WW1 to WW2 era. If you take it out of that time period it loses a lot of it’s charm. So I understand the problem with doing an Indy in the 60's. They should have approached it much more like a James Bond instead of being stuck with one actor that…
Then there will be a petition to release the Snyder cut.
Almost. Terminator is better than Terminator 2. People don’t remember that as great as T2 is, there are definitely some clunky bits. Terminator is basically a perfect action movie, I’m not sure if I can think of a single second of that movie that could be cut out. It is a efficient relentless entertainment delivery…
That top post can’t be real, is it?
“He’s running scared boys!”
Certainly Rogue Squadron (which isn’t just a movie but is planned to be an entire franchise - probably across all kinds of media). And I have to think that if there are three you can skim from looking at IMDB there has to be at least that many we don’t know about.
yup (and on a nicer note - it was a house for his mum).
It seems very possible to me that after two years she basically had a complete script, Gunn and company wanted something completely different from the ground up (maybe keeping Gadot, maybe not), she said no, and they said sorry. Really as simple as that. She has ton of other work, they have tons of other directors…
One of the funniest 10 minutes of TV ever made.
“I have never seen the film, but by all accounts it was terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific.”
Enslaved is absolutely great. Both gameplay and aesthetically. Now Tunic...It is a beautiful game and it has some incredibly clever design, but in the end the controls are really sloppy, which is fine for 90% of the game (it isn’t a big combat-centric game, so not having the best combat controls isn’t a deal breaker),…
