The fact that they changed to a full release instead of four weekly hour long releases at the last minute is proof that WB sees this movie as a stinker. They knew that people would tune out after an episode or two. They are officially done with the Synder edge-lord anti-hero-verse.

Now that the second part is not going to happen, I’m not sure if I have any interest in it anymore.  Do you really want to watch half a book?

It will be interesting to see if movie theaters can survive just showing big explosion movies. I think the move for dramas and art films to television is pretty much complete at this point.

Age of Ultron is not that bad. The only problem is that it’s overstuffed, Whedon has said it was overstuffed, Feige said it was overstuffed. It had to set up at least 3 seperate future stories, each one of those added a good 5-10 minutes that wouldn’t have been in the movie if is was truly standalone.
