Maybe, I know that the Xbox arcade does have a pay-per-play / pay-per-minute / pay-per-install model (it’s complicated). That can be a lot more appealing to developers. I wouldn’t be surprised if apple’s deal was some combination of lump sum and royalty-type payout.

Android was 75% of the market, but iphone users buy a lot more games. Generally developers will make substantially more money from the iphone version of the game (and I think this will be even more true now if you can get your game on Apple Arcade)

It was over the second he said Biden.  Now it’s just a question of when he will go.

Looks absolutely amazing!

That was shockingly good.

I don’t think this is a terrible buy for him. The stock will probably get one last boost shortly after the ps5 and Scarlett come out, and if he cashes out at that point it’s probably a good inverstment. Longer term than that I think their days are numbered. The margins are so much better for publishers and console

Sorry, those days are firmly over.  Any Republican talking about fiscal responsibility will be laughed out of the room.

This is pretty obvious narcissistic behavior. Trump desperately wants something that will be a permanent item in the history books so people won’t ever forget him. Adding Greenland to the US would definitely do that. Ironically, making Puerto Rico a state would have probably done that was well, but he’s too racist to

Not a word about the Foundation TV show.  Interesting...

Honestly, are movies even that big of deal for people over 25 at this point? Nearly any story I’d much rather get a 10+ episode show, compared to a movie.

Another 5 to 10 years and I’m guessing the old guard at Bungie will be ready to retire and cash out.  Expect a buyout with two year retention clause and then they all leave on day 731.

Prince of Darkness would be great, you could spend the first season redoing the movie. Then a season telling the backstory. Then another season or two going forward from the end of the movie.  It has great potential.

When you try to cash in on how stupid Republicans are, but don’t realize just how stupid Republicans are.

Every full employee at Hello Games is a millionaire thanks to No Man’s Sky, all 8 of them. This is a hobby project for them now, that I expect them to work on until they decide it’s time to live on a beach collecting shells.

I don’t think any natural disaster could do it (including global warming), but nukes, gray goo and a pernicious biological weapon could do it. The latter two could easily happen by accident. So it’s not an impossible.

I think the moon will definitely be economically viable simple as a take off point for any longer missions.  People can sit in a can for the days it takes to get to the moon, then put them in a more spacious ship (that is much cheaper to launch from the moons gravity well) for longer trips.

I could imagine bombarding the planet with comets for a hundred years to thicken the atmosphere, but the gravity and magnetic field problems seem unfixable.

I do not understand why Seattle is not on lists like this. Not only the the metro area huge, but it is a rich high-tech hub where people would spend money on things like this.

Wow, this is quite a hit job. You are misrepresenting his views about as much as possible (and you backpedal and use weak language throughout because you know it). Being honest about what is going to happen is not dangerous. Carbon Capture combined with lower emissions is 100% the correct solution, and investigating

The entire cast is filled with the funniest actors I’ve ever seen.  They could read a dictionary and I’d shit my pants.
