Honestly, The Quest changes everything. No wires, easy to jump into, controls and picture are great. VR wasn’t really VR until the Quest. You have to try it before you can make any judgments about VR anymore.

The number of people that will drop $199 versus $299 is massive, for a big chunk of America it’s the difference between a xmas gift and something that must be used by the whole family.  They are going to sell millions of these.

I think it’s pretty obvious. If it is $100 cheaper and has TV functionality almost no one would by the original switch anymore. This is all about product differentiation. Basically they cripple this a little to prevent cannibalizing original switch sales.

It’s annoying that they purposely crippled this.  Adding the hdmi port would have cost less then $1 (and I’d bet the internals for the hdmi are all still inside).

If you really want to do this (assuming the Dems have the House, the Senate and the Presidency), I think the better approach would be to dig up enough dirt on Trump to proclaim his election invalid (not hard to do given Trumps background and if you control everything) and impeach the last two judges on the grounds…

I never understand why right wingers use memes from actors and creators that despise everything they stand for. It’s just a tacit admission that their culture is bereft of creativity and fun. I know it might seem boring to constantly post one of seven duck dynasty gifs, but that’s the world you want.

I have no problem with them not accepting him for his language or even for his 2nd amendment stance. They are a private institution they can do whatever the hell they want.

The more you see things like this, the more you come to realize what a scam property owners have.  Paying people even twice what ther make now still isn’t going to bring it up to the cost you pay for rent.

Out of curiosity, how much do people think a 30 day supply of the pill would cost if it was over the counter? My guess is that it would be $10/month (it is beyond generic at this point and there are lots of over the counter drugs that cost less then this now).
