It’s was either stupid or insulting, probably both. Things were fuuuuuuuuuuuuuu (I could go on)uuuuuucked in the 70's.
(Now you might be able to say that kids were exposed to less of it, but she didn’t have the brains to say that).

It’s just not a well crafted universe for a continuing story-line. They should have bought Star Trek if they wanted a huge multi-platform universe (I’m not saying one is better than the other, but one is definitely crafted for multiple continual stories with different casts).
I’d add another 9% to your estimate
I’m a huge fan, but I think this movie is going to hurt his career even more. His earnings - I’m one of the few people that loved Man from Uncle - have been steadily going downhill for the past decade.
Not sure if you read these comments, but here is my tweak to “fix” the Dany problem with 2 minutes of added footage:
I’m almost positive that the horse was one of the horses ridden by the Dothraki earlier in the episode. He died in the destruction and the horse was wondering around. Makes sense to me.
The build up of Dany was fine, they just needed a trigger (either her other dragon dying in the battle of ep 4, or Jon for king scenario would have been great was to get her to finally snap). It was like you spend the first act of a play bringing a gun into the room and then it just randomly goes off sitting at a…
She’s worth every fucking penny
There was no trigger. That was the problem in one sentence.
As I said elsewhere, this is the “Tragedy of big moments” D&D wanted a big moment for the end of Ep 4. Your solution is much better, but then everyone would have written about how “nothing happened” last week in the reviews of ep 4.
I actually think the flaw was in the desire to evenly distribute big moments(tm). It would have made perfect sense for Dany to snap if her second dragon had been killed in the battle of Kings Landing (especially if she though Jon was killed - if he was riding it), but they had to have a shock at the end of episode 4 -…
This was my solution as well. I think the writers were too scared of being accused of “nothing happening” in episode 4 and it would have been very similar to what happened before with Asha’s fleet being destroyed.
One day his balls will drop and his voice will get deeper.
I don’t understand, her options are: Attack or Siege. Her army is decimated, they don’t have anywhere near the supplies to last the winter and every moment is more time for Cersei to draw more resources and is an obvious sign of weakness. I not saying attack is the obviously right answer, but it is certainly a…
It’s very common for a property manager to take one months rent a year AND a month if they find you a renter (so a little under or a little over depending on how often you get new tenants).
The great thing is that Rosenberg has said a lot of insulting things to people in Seattle that have some problems with people shooting up and living in our public parks. And now we are going to make this prick pay...
It was stated very clearly at the start of the show in an interview in EW that Martin had given them the entire outline of the series (he hadn’t finished the actually writing, but he had a full outline of the entire series of books). So until that is refuted I’m of the opinion that the show is following the where the…
I think their strategy was ok except for two things: a) they had no idea the sheer magnitude of zombies (this was literally 100x as many as hardhome). The blizzard that blocked the dragons view was an utterly crippling move to their strategy.
Arya doing the killing blow was perfectly fine. It made a lot of narrative sense and anyone that doesn’t think she has earned her skills hasn’t been watching the show for 8 years.
The books are okay. They are fairly well written, but they have a lot of fantasy tropes throughout (which is fine!)...but the author/main character, who is telling the story, goes to great lengths to congratulate himself on how trope-free this very special story is, which is really annoying.
