I’ve made this joke a few times before, but at this point I expect the final shot of this season to be of Burnham taking a shuttle out of an exploding Discovery on her way to meet another doomed crew. Then throwing her head back with a maniacal laugh.

Says the person that doesn’t talk about Katharine’s points at all and instead just demeans her seconds after she posts.

I have high hopes for Robot Girl(tm)! She actually spoke in this latest episode!

I think that arguable given the writing of television at the time, but you certainly can’t deny that ALL of the modern era Trek shows were very much ensemble shows.

I mean sycophants to the show (Christ, you scared me for a second, cause I use that word all the time!)

At this point I fully expect everyone to die BUT Burnham, with the end of the season being her boarding a shuttle to doom another hapless crew...

This has been my biggest complaint about the show. I like Star Trek to be an ensemble show, this most certainly is not, and I think it rally sacrifices character work because of it. Honestly, we barely know anyone beside Burnham.

Since they seem to be in a race to see if they can cram every Star Trek Trope into one season, I expect them to discover the sling-shot maneuver (which they will never tell anyone about either!) and use it to solve everything.

Star Trek is always it’s weakest when it ventures into magic powers for aliens. Would have been much better if it had been some kind of normal perception thing (like he can actually sense movement all around him even in the dark, not a magic spider-sense.)

Not you too Angier Geek, not you too!

Actually it’s the other way around, the people in the mirror universe are evil because they don’t get a lot of bright sun! If you put a person in a dark room for enough time, they turn evil, IT’S SCIENCE!

Here comes the army of sycophants, waiting for the second Katharine submits her review to post this boiler plate Katharine bashing at the top of the thread...

The problem is, there will be no end to Hannity’s reign. Even if Trump is spectacularly guilty of treason, Hannity will stay, millions of 70+ year olds will still watch him, and he will retire incredibly rich. Sadly there is no way he will lose.

A lot of people don’t realize how huge the drop in server costs is going to be to games. Both in the quality and in the complexity of writing games. With server costs now being tiny, every game can run off servers now. This greatly simplifies the code and the security compared to client solutions or client/server

Care to explain?

While I think that’s generally true, if we’re talking about cancer these patients might very well be people that are dying soon regardless. If you were given this proposition:

I’m just going to say this one more time, because I can’t change your behavior, but I think if you take a step back and look at your comments they are critical of her and do little to address the actual points of the show or the review. You accuse her of having a predisposition to dislike the show, so you think her

But you come on here and always say the same thing:

I don’t know if the Emperors ship is captured or built tech. I was responding to kingofmadcows comment that I thought might be implying that the federation built the Tantalus field. I don’t think that’s correct.

What’s irritating to me is taht if they wanted Voq on Discovery, they already had a great mechanism in the cannon! Use a Vulcan mind meld to transfer it! Plus that’s an intriguing bit of Vulcan mind powers that hasn’t been explored a ton (mind melds have, but not the full mind transfer that happened with Spock in Star
