Maybe obstructing traffic is illegal.

Seeing as how the road was already blocked off, these people were not blocking traffic. These cops just wanted to kill them because they would rather kill and detain innocent protestors instead of admit that they are not trained to do their job properly. Remember, you need 8 years of college to interpret the law in

At least one guy in the back of that BearCat:

Three squares of boot a day looks good on you!

I feel like I’ve seen this before... oh yeah:

Or, you know, the cops could turn around.

Funny, I don’t see any looters as the cop threatens death. In fact, I don’t think I’ve seen any looters arrested or detained. But I have seen thousands of peaceful protesters tear-gassed, beaten, shot at and detained.

Nope.  That’s what freedom looks like. Don’t like it? Move to Russia.

The cops in my capital city have been patrolling in this:

“WON’T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE SNEAKERS?!”

I grew up there. I remember the cops coming down hard on jaywalkers and cyclists on sidewalks because there was nothing else to do. The transformation of community police departments into paramilitary organizations is ridiculous.  By no means does Walnut Creek need this.

Not all of us were.

Thank god for that Thin Blue Line... think of all the needless bloodshed that would occur without them!

“You are comparing the Chinese crackdown on protesters to what is happening now?”

Maybe because the military has far stricter rules of engagement?

I’d say fuck the police, but if you are in a military vehicle painted black threatening to kill peaceful protests on US soil, you aren’t the police, you’re a para-military death squad.

The government started this mess with unnecessary violence, and continues to escalate it with more violence and threats of even more severe violence.

I remember when we used to be against governments that did things like that to their citizens.

You and I shared the same thought!

“If you do not move, you will be dead.”
