So, this car starts $10K over Model 3 and has pathetic EV range - how is that Model 3 competitor????

Sure - after you fill in enough paperwork, to burry Pentagon in it.
Watch the whole video, before posting such nonsense - he wasnt really testing it on children (he tested it on himself before allowing child to stand barely in front of the car - more like beside it) and given pathetically slow speeds involved, nobody was in any danger.
Article title is a clickbait - I watched the video and I dont consider this to be "testing on children" and whole thing was done as safely as possible.
IMO, its completely fault of tailgater - car in front of him was clearly in left lane, to allow car to get on highway safely. Also its possible, that the first car braked for some legitimate reason.
ICE engine + transmission + increasing complex equipment to reduce emissions are sure to increase cost of ICE cars. On the other hand, prices of batteries and electric motors is going down.
IMO, breaking some paper rules is less problematic, than risking severe creash...
And why would they need dealers for that? Tesla service center already does this + certified 3rd party repair shops already do less specialized repairs on Tesla cars.
I hate dealers and hope, that Tesla is sucessfull.
Lack of OTA updates is not helpful - without them deploying SW fix to such issue will take much longer, cost much more and many cars will still end up no fixed due to lazyness, ignorance etc.
They dont pay for military expenses needed to secure stable oil production, healthcare cost which is result of fossil fuel usage etc.
Society advances one funeral at a time.
Wake me up, when ICE cars “stand on their own" without any direct or indirect subsidy....
no, that was some trolls "analysis" posted on the internet.
EU approved plan to replace old emmision/fuel efficiency tests in 2017 and those will include real world testing with higher max speed and faster acceleration - I expect prices of diesel (and to a lesser degree, gasoline) cars to become more expensive, because of extra equipment that will be needed to pass those tests.
Its a city of 200+K people, not an empty desert.
And some fools still wonder, why Tesla doesnt want anything to do with dealers.....
It can be done via settings.
A few minor errors:
why are so many (incl. my) comments grey/hidden?
