This surely happens all the time in music production... and the simple demographics of the US (for example) means there will usually be white people involved at every level of production …

The New York Times article states that while FN Meka is indeed voiced by a Black man, things like “lyrical content, chords, melody, tempo, sounds” were partially derived by artificial intelligence. At the same time, allegedly, only one white man is involved with FN Meka’s act.

Consumers will be playing the game + day one patch. That is literally their point. To run with your analogy (as far as it will bend comparing apples to oranges)... my new car literally needed a software update the day I picked it up. I would have been fine with doing it on my own at home if all it took was turning it…

The only thing I could think of is that if they used GPS tracking it would probably be too inaccurate to be enforceable in a contract... but a device like this would probably pull directly from the car’s IO and only use GPS to corroborate the readings.
