The legality depends on the state and the year of the encounter (the further you go back the more states you’ll find where children can consent). I only assume your referencing the legality (and not the morality) because you’re using explicit legal language here.

If you meant your comment in moral terms... yeah... rape

Do you ever think about the distinction between valuing representation of actual people in industries in which they are underrepresented and liking characters in media simply because they look like you?

I feel like the latter is a very shallow victory that symbolizes a goal that is not only impossible to attain, but

The appropriate action is for you to contact the authorities and follow their instructions. Full stop. You are not a Detective. You are not a trained social worker. You shouldn’t pretend to be either of those things.

Perhaps there is a purely philosophical discussion to be had where you might find yourself trying to

I’m not sure how Nintendo’s “feelings” relate to the legality of the issue and most of the claims made in the second comment are, as far as I can tell, completely unsubstantiated. They believe emulators cause an increase in the distribution of illegal roms and they believe such distribution causes financial harm.

If enough people don’t buy Metro games for PC (for whatever reason) they won’t continue making them for PC. This isn’t rocket science people. What company, in their right mind, would continue dumping development dollars in to a game that they can’t profit off of?!

That being said... it seems unlikely to me that a

The thing I despise about Battle Royale is that the amount of actual fun I’m having is inversely correlated with my chance of winning. They are camp and lurk simulators.

I feel like a lot of people will be buying this just so they can walk around Punxsutawney. You get the people that like the concept and the people high on those sweet sweet memberberries.

Very few (thoughtful) people have a problem with exclusivity as a concept (given the right context). It’s mildly obnoxious to some of us, but we get that it can have benefits in the long run. The problem is the way they changed it to an exclusive at nearly the last minute. It was clearly a bad move and there are a

The lady doth protest too much, methinks...

That is sound philosophy... when you observe bad behavior you should... ignore it?! Sounds like a recipe for success.

While it’s totally fair to speculate about how Valve feels about this situation, it is completely unprofessional to pull a single word out of a quote and couch it in a way that you know will be misleading to your readers.

I have steam credit I intended to use on this title... and now I can’t. However sincere you think

I couldn’t get in at first (error saying I didn’t have access), but when I submitted a ticket (with a callback estimate of ~2 hours, ugh) I received a call 2 minutes after submitting and I was able to get in about 30 seconds after that. O_O That kind of support is incredible (on a day when they were probably overloaded

Ouch.

Are you reading my mind?

I think the few movies that people can really call “Lovecraftian” get a disproportionate amount of attention because there is a huge thirst there that is never quite quenched.

These comments are fun.

I wish I could give you more stars.

I know that the tests are usually identical, except where there is a lot of time between tests and/or there are several chip generations between tests. The newer test will tend to have more (statistically) “accurate” information, depending on what information could be drawn from the older chip and/or how frequently

I actually enjoyed DA:O’s party AI (after modding). I had plenty of control, but it still left me feeling like things could go horribly wrong and I would have to step in to compensate.

I’d say turn-based is my default preference, but I wouldn’t hate to see more games that expanded on DA:O’s party AI. I had a lot of fun balancing my party per usual and trying to tweak the AI well enough so I could watch fights play out like simulations (with the help of a few mods).
