It is unclear to me how to actually reach Chapelle about the harm of these jokes and I totally understand that position that he needs to be defeated rather than reached. What is clear to me is that getting angry with him does not seem to work either way. I have to do what I should have been doing all along, just not

I watched the special. While I am not excusing any of the ableist or transphobic remarks, I think the bigger problem with this special is that I didn’t laugh once. I have to admit to being part of the problem as even though I don’t think I’ll laugh and I haven’t, I have still watched Chapelle and Gervais’ specials, I

Old Man Yells at Trans’

I guess he went from transgressive to trans-aggressive.

I didn’t expect to see this set, but I was at my parents’ home when they decided to watch. (While I educate where I can, I don’t police what my family watches.) So, I sat through this before reading about it. And, I have to say, this article nails it. He sounds like an old fool; one of those guys you’ll hear in any

as long as there are videogames there will always be 13 year olds processing heavy trauma through them.

Why is it whenever something enters the public domain, the first thing it spawns is a cheap horror version? It’s fucking lazy and makes me think our excessive copyright laws aren’t such a bad thing after all.

Put it in H!

TOTK is a great game, no doubt. But it also feels like a super DLC pack to the already great BOTW. Baldur’s Gate 3 truly feels like something we have never seen before.

I understand “Best of...” lists are usually purely subjective. But I don’t see how TotK is better than either BG3, AW2, or SM: Wonder. I would even put REmake 4 ahead of TotK.

Six seasons seems reasonable, really, for such a high concept. I thought season five was a bit weak (yet still terrific) and, anyway, shows don’t go on forever. Six is more than most shows get. That said, I am open to a Jackie Daytona spinoff.

This is a good run and I could sort of tell it might be winding down since Guillermo’s storyline essentially ended last season

That’s ok!  Even last season wasn’t as good as the prior ones.  I’d much rather they admit they used all of the good material they had rather than diminishing funny returns for another 5 seasons.

“Vengeance Doesn’t Skip Leg Day”

Mission accomplished.

Santos’ self-professed mission was to “expose the rot and corruption” in D.C. and he believes he did.

Overly describing the appeal of women’s breasts in an attempt to seem straight.”

“I see a pair of thick, weighty breasts and all logic flies out the window.”

“You know I’m still getting over the tragic loss of my wife. She was such a strong, female woman with nice heavy breasts.”

“One night when I was philandering,

Kulkin does a pretty good job of letting Roman’s mask slip in unexpected ways (while I agree going over the top), so if I’m picking one actor from Succession it’s Macfadyen. He starts the series as such a drip, a competent corporate drone at best whose last name alone was annoying, and gradually emerges to say what he

Agreed, Willie Jack really came into her own in the final season. Her scenes with Lily Gladstone’s character were some of the most moving, heartbreaking scenes I’ve seen in recent memory.

Devery Jacobs was terrific on the final season of Reservation Dogs & a lot about her performance that season has really stuck with me, especially the episode where she reunites with the father she didn’t know about.
