I don’t think you would feel that way if you were the one screwed out of a major championship and 150k.

Eliminate fans being able to call in rules violations. There’s the solution. At the very least, make it a rule that they can’t call it in a day later. The level of bullshit in this rule is so deep it goes to the bottom of the ocean.
It was pretty fitting how the game ended. The first game was more fun to watch, but by the end it had turned into a slog, too.
There’s a reason team rebounding is an important stat. Oregon was beaten as a team on the offensive glass. And while I’m no basketball guru, I wonder given the importance of grabbing that rebound whether Oregon should have doubled Pinson or Meeks in those situations.
Yeah, there are four to six good teams and then a bunch of trash
Definitely some poor word choice there. But, this is someone who has done a great deal to raise the profile of women’s basketball and indirectly women’s sports, so I give him the benefit of the doubt here. What he could have said is something similar to what his daughter said later, that women have increased…
What might happen is that Assad dies mysteriously, and 100 years from now people will find out it was the U.S. who orchestrated it, because you know we meddle in shit anytime, anywhere. Just a little assassination plot on a Wednesday. That’s how we roll
The only problem is, if you bump him off, is that going to magically end all the shit going down in Syria? Probably not. But I do know that killing people who are just minding their own business is unforgivable. If Assad gets what’s coming to him, I won’t be distressed, but Syria will still be a mess.
And to think there are still many Baylor apologists. It boggles my mind. I really hope these bastards get nailed, because their appalling lack of compassion and forthrightness is sickening. And I honestly question whether they realize they are digging their own graves.
Until Friday, the number of crazy endings was zero, and now we have two in the last five games. Fantastic stuff
Never change, No Fun League
Crean is a really good recruiter, but not so much as coach. Good coaches get at least serviceable defense out of talent, but IU has over his tenure been generally meh to eww on the defensive end.
Arizona would likely play St. Mary’s in the second round.
It seems like a sincere gesture. But, as the interviewer noted, the optics of everything else (especially that he pretends to be or is willfully ignorant of the exploitation of college athletes) aren’t wonderful.
And that loss to St. John’s was by 33. To a team that ended up 14-19, 7-11. Ouch. I know teams have bad games, but that was truly horrific.
I can’t wait for the day when somebody on that team has the stones (and the clout) to call out the bullshit and force them change this dumb policy.
That was a pretty goal
The most egregious are Auston and Justen. The rest are tame by comparison. And, there are other sports (I’m looking at you, MLB) that offer a trove of cringeworthy names.
Or is it Coy Kraft? He could be an undercover operative sent in by Belicheat to destroy US Soccer from within. You know the Ginger Hammer has to have been hearing it from his bud Bob about the rising popularity of MLS, and the Pats get pretty much anything they want.
And these morons are the same people who have refused to even try implementing the rather successful model of emphasizing technical training over game experience in youth soccer. They also think that paying the USWNT and USMNT equally is not important. Welcome to dysfunction-ville, everybody.
