Selling items with shipping has been surprisingly easy and painless on Facebook. Selling items in person has been a PITA. Generally, the exchange goes something like this.
I agree with you on this. Get a ding on modern “bumpers” and the entire front or rear end of the car needs to be disassembled.
I usually pay $1 or less for a dozen large eggs at my local Lidl and they are fine for every day use. When I am in the area, I visit a farmstand for $6/dozen eggs raised on the farm. Those eggs are tastier (maybe my mind is making me believe it) so I save them for special occasions like Sunday breakfast rather than…
I live and work down the street from the Avenel KMart. In the 80s it was a delight to visit with grandma as she perused the garden department. She purchased some outdoor furniture, shrubs and flowers there while my brother and I were treated to hot popcorn and Icees at the snack bar. As I got older I dug their…
Speaking as someone who is neat, tidy and organized, I’m pleased to see a character like Alan star in a TV show. I identify with the guy!
Based on the number of parents I observe sitting in their idling SUVs and pickups while their kids are on the field at soccer practice, I believe that a substantial percentage of Americans aren’t bothered by high gas prices.
The GOP controls SCOTUS and the majority of statehouses across the US and will probably control Congress after the November elections. I mean, they have the power so why not exercise it?

Maybe Jalop editors had a bad experience with their Chevy Citations decades ago.
The upper middle class types who buy new vehicles are going to shrug off $50-100/month when gas goes up by a dollar.
With the car market as insane as it is, I wonder how many of those Journey buyers paid MSRP or more.
Heck, I’d be happy with a Corolla for my teenager.
The bed reminds of of a Subaru Baja.
The creep gets plenty of free press on Jezebel.
My kid is in college and the only used car his old man will buy him is a Honda. All of my Hondas have passed 200k miles with no mechanical problems at all. Just change the fluids and replace tires & brakes as needed.
Guns and abortion reliably drive lots of crazy voters to the polls.
My town gets its water from the local river. Every winter our water tastes so salty, I switch to bottled water for drinking (which has its own set of environmental problems). The water company sends out notices to customers telling that those with high blood pressure should monitor the amount of tap water they drink.
Would it make sense for major US automakers to start producing their own chips here in the US? I’m sure there still may be supply chain issues getting the raw materials for the chips to North America.
