“very scary time for young men in America when you can be guilty of something that you may not be guilty of”

And very white. Even speaking as a white person, whoo-ee.

That boi so thicc. <3

Yeah, well the main tree of the US was a bunch of treasonous rebels, so...

By the very description you’re using, a microshift isn’t going to change squat.

In today’s economy and global markets you just cannot allow a union to shut down a factory/business at their will over a wage, benefits or other disagreement.

Considering the huge amount of vitriol when Scarlett Johanssen was cast as Motoko Kusanagi, why is no-one complaining about the whitewashing in this?! “Nicky Larson”? Really?

The pound sign? You mean £?

“Destroyed” how, exactly?

Graphical fidelity is, specifically, the fidelity of graphics — that is, how faithful the graphics are to reality. The word “fidelity” in and of itself simply means “faithfulness” (hence “infidelity” used to refer to adultery.)

it’s definitely an improvement (in terms of fidelity at least) on Black Mesa.

Yyyup.

How often do you want a book editted after you buy it? Can you decline these updates? This seems like a great avenue for historical revisionists.

I’ve been playing PS2 classic Urban Chaos: Riot Response in which you play officer NICK MASON, part of the mayor’s special paramilitary death-squad anti-gang task force, and in one scene where I slaughtered people with a helicopter-mounted minigun the pilot quipped: “Did you remember to read ‘em their rights?”

God I fucking love Anathem. I think it’s my favourite Stephenson novel, even above Snow Crash. (I didn’t much like Diamond Age, honestly.)

Interesting, I’m not seeing any outraged screams about casting a white guy to play an originally Asian character.

That was a very good article — if, as you say, a little futile.

What the fuck is wrong with you? “Oh, it’s too late to fight the police state, I guess we’ll just have to bend the knee and accept the ever-encroaching fascism!”

Are you also in favour of legalising heroin and crack cocaine? After all, the people who get addicted to those are responsible for their own actions, right?
